Ana (40) lives in a social housing building and spends her days intentando trying to make ends meet amidst the chaos of greater Brasilia. In addition to facing a strained relationship with Carlos (52), she divides her life between two jobs. By day she works in a plastic packaging factory and at night she cleans a genetic research laboratory. Her life takes a turn when she learns of the death of her father, who worked in a mining company in the middle of the Chilean desert. When Ana arrives in Chile to mourn her father, she delves into the bureaucracy of large-scale mining and its desolate characters. Through them, Ana discovers the existence of a possible sister, which leads her to embark on a journey of searching along deserted highways in an arid and hostile yet beautiful land. A journey in search of answers that ends up being a journey of self-discovery.
